Rageaholic Tiger Has Her Own Line of Mousepads
See how cute Tatiana the Tiger is when she plays with her ball? If you're like me, and you just can't resist the charms of the San Francisco Zoo's fluffy murderess, you're in luck. The Life's A Zoo store on Cafe Press is selling adorable, machine-washable mousepads featuring the likeness of the Christmas Day Mauler for $12.59, because there's nothing more lovable than a massive predator with a history of violence.
The 16 different mousepads feature Tatiana in various poses including; snuggling, prowling, lounging, and of course, snarling. Besides, the mousepad photo of Tatiana frolicking with a ball of yarn, my favorite is this one showing Tatiana hanging out and biting stuff with her cage-mate Tony:
Somehow, Tony managed to survive his tenure living with the troubled tigress who seemingly always lost it around the holidays (on December 23, 2006, she "devoured" a zookeeper's arm). Something tells me the past year (which marked the beginning of Tatiana's adolescence) has been rough for poor Tony, an older tiger for whom Tatiana was intended to be a companion. If you want to help him out, the San Francisco Zoo is still advertising a promotion for animal lovers to "adopt" one of the zoo's Siberian tigers. For a $60 donation, you'll receive a package including a "lovable plush" rendition of one of nature's greatest killing machines. Or, you know, you could also give to a fund for one of Tatiana's victims.
