Getting Your 80s Fix in DC

Tuesday, February 5, 2008

wheretoget80sfix.jpgFrom the crimpers to the jelly shoes to that actor who became president, does anyone really want to relive the 1980s? Give them about five shots of cheap liquor, and the answer to that question is a resounding yes. It seems that even in the hippest of hipsters, there's a corner of the soul that revels in cheesy power ballads. If you'd do anything for love, here's a list of bars in the District of Columbia that'll drive you crazy. But buyer beware -- though DC's top 80s bars have great playlists, many leave something to be desired in other departments. Comments, suggestions, and/or disgust welcome in the comments or via the tipline.
