nycphonetrafficabroadmoma.jpgIn a project titled New York Talk Exchange, MIT researchers are mapping telecom traffic between people in NYC and the rest of the world. The multi-colored map showcases converted "IP and voice data traffic into several animations revealing network flow over time between neighborhoods, international calls between more than 100 cities, and the like." It will be on view as part of MOMA's new exhibit, "Design and the Elastic Mind." [via]
