Heathrow Airport has become a popular refuge for London's homeless. Last month, an outreach organization was dispatched to try to survey the number of people sleeping in Heathrow. Time accompanied these social workers on one of their nightly trips to the airport and found large numbers of homeless residents there, living "in an otherworldly limbo of gleaming corridors, somnambulant passengers, and nonsensical advertisements for a life beyond their reach."
