This Week On The Runway: Chaos
Bradley Baumkirchner, you bearded bundle of nerves, yesterday the judges sent you and your Cher-ish outfit packing. Not your fault. Young, naive, aloof, your model should have known that Cher is a celeb too common to pique your recherche interests. But if you want to get away from the hype, don't go to London which is clamped down tighter than Nina Garcia's cooch after the discovery of a plot to smuggle liquid explosives onto US bound flights leaving the UK. The scene in Heathrow, Gatwick and other airports is complete chaos, according to the BBC. BA has canceled 360 flights alone at Heathrow alone and many other airlines have canceled as well. Though the chaos may ebb in the upcoming days, new restrictions will surely follow. According to Tony Douglas, an airport operator, "passengers will remain subject to the new security processes we therefore ask anybody intending to fly tomorrow and over the weekend should arrive at the airport prepared, "no hand luggage, bringing any items allowed into the cabin in a clear plastic bag and being prepared for delays."
