Chef Scott Conant, the man behind one of the unequivocal hits of the 2008 NYC dining season, brings the restaurant from the Meatpacking District to Miami. Order the spaghetti with tomato and basil, a seemingly simple dish that Conant takes to implausible heights. Slated to open Nov. 21. [link]

Opened in winter 2008 to glowing reviews, Bourbon Steak is, yes, another steakhouseâbut a steakhouse with the culinary skills of San Francisco celebrity chef Michael Mina underlying the food. Watch the prices, though: a lobster pot pie has been market priced recently at $90. [link]
