Debriefer: Gridskipper Turned Coutorturer Megan Zanke
Megan Zanke is known throughout the pages of this site, but she's moved on to work as an editor of Coutorture -- a fantastic fashion-centered website with bite. While she definitiely knows a thing or two about fashion, Megan also knows a thing or two about being young and hitting the streets of New York.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
So Gawker really is going to take over the world, eh? Okay, I choose South Beach. Only kidding! I choose New York, of course.

Debriefer: Comedian Paul Mecurio
Paul Mecurio is comedy's resident virtuoso; after graduating with high honors from Georgetown Law, Paul ditched a bright future in law for ... well, an even brighter career in comedy. He's even got awards to prove it. Let's see the firm Willkie, Farr and Gallagher hand out Emmys. We caught him in a brief moment between shows in the midwest and two headlining nights at New York's Comix (this Friday 26 and Saturday 27) and got him to dish on politics and why he's gotta have his 3am hot dogs with a side of "coffee milk."

Debriefer: Comedian Liam Sullivan
You may not know the hilarious Liam Sullivan, but chances are you have had a close relationship with his alter-ego, Kelly, the shoe-obsessed, gonna-get-what-she-wants betch who has sung/screeched her way into our hearts. LiamShow.com is overflowing with various off-kilter videos and sketches. You can also catch him in unpixelated form as both Liam and Kelly on the Beautiful Tour with comic-maven Margaret Cho when they hit the road in March.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
L.A. Slam dunk! I already live here. The rest of my unnatural life I would like to spend in New York City, of course.

Debriefer: Joey "Go-Go Jo-Jo" Kipp
When living in New York City, it's best to put on your best sparklies, glam it up, and bring the city to its knees. New to the scene but definitely not shy, Joey Kipp is budding boy-lesque performer/choreographer extraordinaire. When he's not up on stage shaking his moneymaker (catch him Friday night at Think.Coffee), or dreaming up silly but stirring routines, Kipp's spreading the love for his birthplace of Brazil.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
Oh my god! ...I guess Bahia -- in Brazil.
Why would you live in this city forever and not somewhere else?
Because there, there I feel like this is the city I'm originally from and it has everything: nature, beauty, the liveliness of the people. Living there would be something beautiful to have in your life forever. Bahia has flavor and to have flavor, love, life and culture is to have everything.

Debriefer: FourFour's Rich Juzwiak
If you aren't reading FourFour, you're missing out on the magic that is Rich Juzwiak's world. His Mogwai-inspired cat Winston, Tyra Banks, and obscure but perfect pop-culture references dwell hand in hand with knitted-together montages, mix tapes, and photoshopped British worms. In addition to his home base, Rich also does the deeds on VH1's Celebreality.

Debriefer: Marketeer Extraordinaire Willie Mack
He may put the "Mack" in MACK Industries, a cutting-edge Soho marketing and branding agency, but president and creative director Willie Mack has more going on than just his memorable name. (Not to be confused with the eponymous country singer, mind you.) When he's not working on campaigns for Absolut or rubbing elbows with Al Gore and Gisele Bundchen (unfortunately not at the same time), you can find Mack frequenting his favorite haunts in his favorite city.

Debriefer: The Crucifixated Sebastian Horsley
How many artists do you know who've been crucified? As in nailed to a cross? British underworld dandy Sebastian Horsley did the whole Christ thing, had it filmed by Sarah Lucas to a soundtrack by Gavin Rossdale, and then fell off, ripping his hands open on the way. He's been a junkie, a whore, and a gangster's bit of rough, and he spent the GDP of a small African country on hookers and H. Harper Perennial publishes his Dandy in the Underworld: An Unauthorized Autobiography next March -- one misery memoir that won't make it into Oprah's Book Club.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
I'm already imprisoned in the city of my choice for the rest of my unnatural life. I will stay here forever. Soho. London. I never travel. I hate travel. My preferred form of travel is to lie on a divan and have the scenery carried past me.

Debriefer: Gay Curmudgeon Paul Hallasy
Curmudgeonhood is not a title lightly claimed, despite many pretenders. Actor, comedian, author, singer, and nominal gay curmudgeon Paul Hallasy stakes his claim to performance fame at Broadway Comedy Club on December 5. Before, after, and perhaps even during, you can supplement the experience by reading his novel, New York Trilogy: New York Underground, Trapped, Love and Sex.

Debriefer: Steamclam.com's Matt Kliegman
If we had to find ourselves a modern-day Renaissance man, why not Matt Kliegman. DJ, artist, writer, and filmmaker, Kliegman's a man of many parts. As proof, check out his site, Steamclam.com, plus regularly irregular nights at New York's Gallery Bar, and even better, he's a Midwestern boy with a thing for farmer's daughters. Though Kliegman's thriving in NYC, he's revisiting his roots for our collective benefit.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
Usually I'd say New York, but I think in this situation I'd have to say Milwaukee. I feel like the locals would be a little bit more considerate of my bizarre situation.
Why would you live in this city forever and not somewhere else?
There are miles of cornfields just outside the city. I miss being able to jam some tunes and drive around the corn. Burn some gas up.

Debriefer: Tango Kiss with Marina Palmer
Hoping to master the art of living in the present like the Porteños, writer Marina Palmer took a trip to Buenos Aires. She fell hard for the city, and the vacation turned into a permanent move. We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
Buenos Aires.
Why would you live in this city forever and not somewhere else?
Because it is the most seductive city in the world; its inhabitants are gorgeous and ooze charm. Porteños are warm, vivacious, sophisticated, creative, deeply neurotic, and maddeningly unpredictable. The atmosphere is vibrant, the streets noisy and chaotic. Life here is completely dysfunctional. You won't get bored for a second.

Debriefer: Comic Max Silvestri
When not posting on Max Silvestri Wants This Inside You or grillmastering delicious food on his terrace, comedian Max Silvestri can be caught up on stage being professionally clever. And while you may or may not be able to catch his cooking skills, you can see the man at work on October 14 at Rififi when he hosts his monthly show "I Like Attention," or online as a regular commenter on VH1's Best Night Ever.
We're going to imprison you in the city of your choice for the rest of your natural life. You can do anything you want there, but you must stay in that city forever. Where would you choose?
I will probably come off like a toolbox for saying it, but Brooklyn. It is a huge and amazing city with a lifetime's worth of places at which to drink, eat, and also drink. Also, thanks for specifying that I will only be forced to remain in the city for the rest of my natural life. It is good to know that if I die and science finds a way to put my brain in a robot body, I will be free to leave this hypothetical prison-borough. I imagine the Atlantic Yards to be the center of this terrifying panopticon.
