All stories about "Overrated Restaurants"

When I told my friend that I wanted to do a post on DC's most overrated restaurants, he sagely said that there is not enough room on the Internet to list them all. It's a phenomenon I don't understand. Unrelenting praise and enormous crowds in this city are always elevating mediocre, overpriced restaurants. Could it be that Washington as a whole lacks taste?
