Infinity Tower Begins

But how can the infinite ever be said to "begin," you ask? Construction has started on Infinity Tower, a new skyscraper on Dubai Marina. Though the luxury residential building will stand a hefty 80 stories when complete, its main distinction is that it "twists" 90 degrees over the course of its rise. Ostensibly it will be the tallest tower in the world with a 90-degree twist, winning a competition I didn't even know existed. The Infinity Tower is scheduled to finitely open in 2009.
