Get Your Clinton in NYC: A Guide to Gotham's First Family

The Clintons are the closest thing New York has to a first family. Yeah, we have the Bloombergs and the feuding Giuliani clam clan but no one inspires regional hard-ons like the Clintons. There's no Bloomberg Bay or Giuliani Slope like there is a Clinton, Hill or Chelsea. Though 6 years out of office, Bill Clinton still leaves trails of jibbering liberals in his wake and has been seen with the hotttest celebrities. He has a wife too who's doing something or other and has recently had her mammoth bust marmorially memorialized.

Tavern on the Green: Hillary held her 59th birthday party with a campaign fundraiser at Tavern on the Green last year. At least 1,000 of her closest friends and supporters showed up to the $1,000-per-plate event.

The Clinton Foundation: Bill Clinton opened his office at 55 West 125th Street in Harlem to much fanfare in 2001. Over 1,000 gathered and cheered "We want Bill!" while others in the neighborhood saw his relocation as the final sign of gentrification in Harlem.

The Spotted Pig: Bill Clinton has been spotted here on numerous occasions. He was seen dining here with Bono recently where they most likely discussed Africa, world poverty, and the succulent gnudi.

Clinton's NYC Office: Hillary has offices in D.C., upstate New York, Long Island, and right in Manhattan on Third Avenue.

Avenue Capital Group: It was recently reported that Chelsea got a new job working for Avenue Capital Group, the New York hedge fund. The Daily News reports, "Former and perhaps future First Daughter Chelsea Clinton is getting a new job - and probably a big raise. Clinton is taking a post at the Avenue Capital Group, a hedge fund run by supporters of her mother, according to a person familiar with the company's decision. The 26-year-old Chelsea has been a consultant at McKinsey and Co., and the move to the hottest sector of finance would almost certainly mean a raise."

Crobar: Hillary held numerous re-election campaign fund raisers at the popular NYC club in '05 and '06. Husband Bill usually speaks at each one and is almost as big of a draw as Hillary.

2nd on 2nd Karaoke Bar: Chelsea was spotted at this East Village karaoke bar by a faithful reader of Gawker Stalker. Said tipster wrote, "Last night, Chelsea Clinton was observed in a state of extreme inebriation at a bar on 2nd Ave and 2nd Street called, cleverly enough, "2nd on 2nd." This is a Karaoke bar. She was being propped up against a wall by two friends, without whom she would have slumped to the floor. Her hair was "up." She was eventually escorted out of the bar by her friends, a guy and a girl."

CentoVini: Chelsea Clinton has been spotted at the elegant Italian wine bar and restaurant with girlfriends. The intimate spot, opened by the owners of I Trulli and Moss just last summer, already has a major following by New York's foodie elite.

Union Square Farmer's Market: Chelsea has been spotted at the Union Square Greenmarket numerous times. Most recently she was spotted in with a boyfriend trying yogurt samples.

Capitale Restaurant: Hillary held another fund raiser here earlier in the year. Husband Bill spoke at the event saying, "She's been a really good senator. She takes good care of New York. She's been effective. I never met anybody that had a better combination of mind and heart than Hillary." The restaurant has a cavernous ballroom, perfect for big events and appearances.
