The occasion of the recent opening of rooftop barplex 230 Fifth served as the early signal for the annual review of the State of New York Rooftop Bars. The New York Times' Seth Kugel heroically falls on the grenade, providing a comprehensive 28-bar listing of what's up there this season. If we're lucky, later on we'll get another "voice of the rooftop people" piece like last year. Models "gushing" that they "want to be naked" will be a tough mark to top.
