Le Swap: Paris Swing Clubs

Friday, June 20, 2008

big%20cowgirl.jpgEveryday on Gridskipper we give you a new map. Some are new, some are fetched from our archive, newly updated. Happy Gridskipping. So you've heard all about our clubs échangistes but aren't exactly sure how to get in there? Fear not, little libertine! Paris sex clubs are actually quite welcoming, what with their Western theme nights and all-you-can-eat buffets. First-timers and those without the courage to coucher appreciate the "no means non" policy and acceptance of voyeurism. So when you find yourself ready for a Michel Houellebecq sort of evening, remember our map and warm up with this inspiring video from Stereo Total.

Le Quai 17

15 Quai de l'Oise75019 Paris, France

The Quai removes some of the mystery by allowing users to register and chat online in advance of upcoming soirées. Careful planners can thus be alerted, for example, that "Michelx74" will be attending Thursday's "Gang Bang Buffet." Single women (€15) are in demand here, whereas the price for lads is a stiff €100. Couples enter for €50. On the off nights, les coquins (and those playing along at home) can tune into the club's "Radio Libertine." [link]

Le Pluriel

13 Rue François Miron75004 Paris, France

This club boasts the most Marquis de Sade digs, with a four-level building in the historic Marais. Le Pluriel serves a free buffet from 8:30-10:30 p.m., and its underground basement chambers include a "famed erotic table, much loved by our customers." Single women (€22) and men (€94) are welcome here, and couples can enter for €54. [link]

Le Nautilus

The club with the most hilarious English-language marketing copy ever invites couples to "meet themselves in a felted frame ... to share certain art of living and to make the holiday." The holiday here varies according to the night. Wednesdays are for couples in which both partners are bisexual; Thursdays are for straight guys & bi girls, and Fridays are for newcomers. "Affectionate afternoons" run €49 per couple, and a "night cruise" costs €65. No singles. [link]
