Tokyo View

Roppongi Hills is something quintessentially Japanese-- an entire city in a few blocks. It has apartments, hotels, museums, theaters, cafes, and high-end shops like Louis Vuitton, all presented in a uniformly welcoming-but-vaguely-Blade-Runnerish way.

Some places worth checking out are the Mori Urban Institute for the Future in the Mori Arts Center (which also has an awesome museum shop, perfect for souvenirs that your friends will actually appreciate). Also, the incredible Tokyo City View, which (as the name suggests) offers 360-degree views of Tokyo from 50 stories up.
